TriSlim Review Summary
There seem to be so many weight loss supplements nowadays that it has become increasingly difficult to find a way through the maze and medley of the same basic ingredients undergoing permutations and combination, only to turn up as different products. In light of this, TriSlim may be yet another formula with not much new to offer.
According to the retailer’s website, TriSlim is supposed to not only burn, fat but also block fat from being absorbed into the system. In this regard, TriSlim may be quite different. However, we are skeptical of the efficacy of including Chitosan along with a fat burner. Therefore, we will take a closer look at the TriSlim formula and determine whether it may be better than the rest.
TriSlim Ingredients
TriSlim contains the following ingredients: Chitosan, South African Hoodia Gordonii, Guarana Extract, Citrus Aurantium Extract (which is also known as Bitter Orange Extract), Green Tea Extract, Garcinia Cambogia Extract, Chromium Picolinate and Magnesium Stearate. Among these, we especially like Hoodia Gordonii, Bitter Orange Extract, Green Tea and Garcinia Cambogia Extracts and Chromium. However, we believe that Yohimbine and Epimedium are obviously missing from the formula.
Ingredients in Focus
Bitter Orange may be thought of as an Ephedra-alternative. The active ingredient in Bitter Orange is Synephrine, which is believed to stimulate fat metabolism. The best way to get Synephrine in a supplemental form may be through a patented formula. Advantra-Z® is a patented form of Bitter Orange that is gaining much consumer confidence nowadays.
Meanwhile, Chromium, especially GTF Chromium, is believed to assist insulin in regulating fat, carbohydrate and glucose, and during protein metabolism. Green Tea is also well known for its numerous antioxidants. It has been touted invariably by many weight-loss products as an aid that may increase fat oxidation. Green Tea Extract may support some people in lowering stress. Also, we like that the formula contains Hoodia Gordonii, which has taken the industry by storm as a powerful, yet safe appetite suppressant.
Chitosan Reconsidered
Chitosan, an amino polysaccharide, is an all-natural fiber found in the exoskeleton of crustaceans. Our preliminary research finds that Chitosan may be most popularly used as a plant growth enhancer. In fact, some popular brands of plant fertilizers and growth formulas seem to include Chitosan as a primary ingredient. It is theorized that this positively charged fiber may attract and bind with fat molecules. However, it is worth noting that there are theories maintaining that the very adhesive property may bind with essential minerals, thus rendering the effect detrimental.
In our research, we find all types of products that are manufactured and marketed with the intent of enabling people to lose weight. From what we have seen, the most popular of them contain Advantra-Z®, an ingredient that has received a large amount of media hype and consumer praise for its known ability to serve as a metabolism increaser, thereby promoting weight loss.
TriSlim is marketed to aid people in losing weight. And it may be able to do just that.
