My handles don't line up evenly and it does hurt the knees. Not for any one with bad knees! Cant comment on dropping kilos because i have not had it long enough but i do think like with any exercise worth doing its not as easy as it looks but i can feel it working my muscles and it definitely gets the heart pumping.
